Gov. Bob McDonnell will appear on Meet the Press this Sunday to debate the tone of the 2012 presidential contest, according to the show’s web site.
McDonnell, chairman of the Republican Governors Association, is scheduled to appear with his counterpart at the Democratic Governors Association, Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley.
Here’s the program tease from the MTP site: “Has the campaign for the nation’s highest office reached its lowest point? The campaign kicked into a new gear this week, but will the country get a debate on the big ideas on how to solve the country’s economic woes?”
