Comstock targets Obama policies in brief speech

Del. Barbara Comstock delivered a brief speech this afternoon at the Republican National Convention, telling those gathered for the early program that “over the past four years, we in Virginia have kept the American dream alive by observing the president’s policies – and doing the opposite.”

Comstock is a co-chair of presumed Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney’s campaign in Virginia and a member of the House of Delegates from Fairfax County.

In a speech that ran roughly three minutes in the Tampa Bay Times Forum, she said President Barack Obama, if re-elected, “would double down on his job-destroying policies.”

Comstock ended her speech with: “Thank you so much and Virginia, let’s keep winning.”
