On the heels of the Republican National Convention in Tampa, GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney and running mate Paul Ryan will campaign in Richmond Friday.
Both will attend a “Victory Rally” at Richmond International Airport at 2 p.m. Doors for the event will open at 11 a.m.
The event, which follows Romney’s Thursday night speech in Tampa, is just the latest in a flurry of political activity in Virginia, a key battleground state that Obama carried in 2008.
President Barack Obama is campaigning in Charlottesville today. Romney last campaigned here in mid-August, announcing Ryan as his running mate. Ryan has since visited the state on his own, as has Vice President Joe Biden.
