Gov. Bob McDonnell will address the Iowa Republican Party’s Reagan dinner on Oct. 24, three weeks after he delivers the keynote address at the Republican Party of Florida’s 2012 Victory Dinner.
The Iowa GOP announced that McDonnell and Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus will be the keynote speakers for the event at the Iowa State Fairgrounds in Des Moines. The announcement notes McDonnell’s role as a top surrogate for Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney, but Iowa also holds the nation’s first presidential contest caucuses.
McDonnell, chairman of the Republican Governors Association, will headline the Florida GOP’s 2012 dinner on Oct. 4 in Orlando.
